Hartpury Festival of Dressage-Premier League

Springsteen was on fire and posted a new PB for his Premier League campaigns in 2019 at the Festival of Dressage- he came 5th overall with 68.8% and then on day 2 came 5th again in a very strong Inter 1 class with 67.8% – showing much more quality in the work with a greater degree of collection which the foreign judges liked- super result and worth all the extra work we are giving him like the water tread mill once a week at Lambourn and lessons with Carl Hester complimenting his regular trainer Roland Tong

Competing in the sunshine, whats not to like when you produce a clear round and 8th place with Springsteen 67.8% at Addington Premier League

Addington High Profile show

A super start to my 2019 season with a 6th place in the Inter 1 test at Addington HP show on Springsteen today- a nice fault free test in the sunny weather competing against the great Charlotte Dujardin who showed us how it should be done! Just the boost you need in the middle of winter and a reminder that the hard work never stops…. thanks also to my super trainer Roland Tong for all his help

2018 News

Springsteen has had a really good competition season- in June and July got good scores At Wellington and Hartpury Premier Leagues- July saw us at Bicton Regionals coming 5th at Inter 1 level and then we had major fun at the Midway Championships again at Hartpury where we won the Inter 1 and Inter 1 music with 70% scores. September was a qualifying month for the 2019 Regionals and lastly November saw us come 5th at the BD Small tour Championships at Keysoe with an overall 69%- what a year!!

Bury Farm Regionals

What a year Natalie kayal and DHI Homerun have had so far but now secured their place at the BD National Championships in September with a 1st place in the Inter 1 with a whopping 73.2%- their win here at Bury farm in a big class confirms the great progress made this year by the pair- she is already qualified at PSG-

Summerhouse Ec

A SUPER day at Summerhouse for Jacky Baird who has trained with me for some time in her first affiliated Novice 23 with a super 68.3% riding her own Toby- Jacky has competed this year in team Quest but is looking forward to gaining qualification for the area festivals-

I also had a good day with berrifield Stuntman, who despite making a few mistakes got a respectable 65.2% in his second PSG

Deauville 3* CDI

WOW, another stunning performance by Natalie Kayal last week end at her 3rd International , this time Deauville in France where she achieved 68.4% in the PSG, 68.5% in the Inter 1, and 69.2% in the Inter1 kur and then got a fab write up from BD – she is on top form and so is Jo Jo!

Great result for Sandra at Oldencraig

It was a great result for Sandra Tarshis and her own Ouncel Brookfield when she came first with 65.2% at Oldencraig  Equestrian centre in Novice 23- Sandra who also does show jumping and eventing with “ozzy” has worked hard with me on her flatwork and its all beginning to pay off- well done for a super result and all your hard work!

Hartpury FEI International 3* Festival

Just had a super weekend at Hartpury where Natalie Kayal contested her 2nd International and got some amazing results- 5th in CDI  PSG 69.6%/8th in CDI inter 1 with 67.4%/ and the top 12 went through to the CDI Intermediate freestyle where she came 7th with 71.9%  -all super results in a high class level of international competition- Well done Natalie!!! Oh and well done “jo jo”!!

Rebecca on top Form

Another week on and Becky Wishart  and her own Furantti hit the headlines again with another Win at Hunters in the N38q with a massive 74.6% and a 65% in the Elementary 42, making going to the Winter Regional championships at both levels well within her grasp- earlier in the month she had been a guinea pig for me showing Elementary movements to judges who were being trained by Sarah Pidgley  and she got some very good feedback about her riding and lovely horse- I rode  Berrifield Spetter to do the medium movements which he thoroughly enjoyed as he hadn’t been out for over 4 years!
